I majored in Mathematics and Computer Science and French and received a 3.84 GPA.
I worked as a research assistant from May 2013 - September 2013 at the college, where we researched ways to teach parallel computing in undergraduate level courses, co-authored papers, and created teaching modules. I collaborated with Lewis and Clark College and St. Olaf College, acting as inter-collegiate connection. Our research studied programming languages including Haskell, Python, JavaScript's parallel API RiverTrail, and CUDASkills.
As for my French major, I studied abroad in Nancy, France for four months. I am conversant in French thanks to living with a wonderful host mom, studying at an art school, and apprenticing in a French patisserie.
And finally, I spent most of my free time in the music building, where I accompanied vocalists on the piano.
